What A Fett Surprise That Was

Fettes Brot Live in the Vienna U4 Club

Surprise, Surprise. FM4 hosted just another FM4 Überraschungskonzert (surprise concert) in Vienna’s U4 discotheque. Fettes Brot was on the agenda for yesterday’s show and, man, that quite a majestic show. They have just finished their Strom und Drang tour and played in Linz on Wednesday (14 May), however, FM4 got them to play in Vienna to give an encore. FM4 raffled away tickets and among the winners - guess who won something valuable for his first time in his life? - was Philipp. I took Miki and Jassy (who was not on the guest list unlike Miki and me) got in anyway with using her certain “willingness” to do anything to see Fettes Brot live. Kidding. Continue reading

Watch The City Flow In HD

This time wouldn’t have been the last time.

Urban citizens claim that cities have a certain flow. A flow of arts, spirit and even fashion. In the case depicted above us (my liebe Readers should know this city by now. San Francisco), I can most definitely confirm that there is a compelling vibe, an atmosphere caught in-between Victorian houses, tall skyscraper or in-between the peninsula and Alcatraz. Wheter I landed or left the City, I kind of knew that I will be bording another plane flying me into SFO. My mind tells me, “This time wouldn’t have been the last time.”

My Freedom Ends Where Your Bumper Beginns

Plastered

Giving public statements has to be somewhat of a human urge throughout mankind’s history.

Back in Ancient Times Greek and (copycat) Romans delivered rhetorical masterpiece speeches. It’s seems like there is something that fuels a drive that makes us express ourselves whether it is by (cave) paintings, plays or, let’s face it, bumper stickers. Continue reading

The Liberation of LOL

It’s time to face the truth… Are you abusing lol? You are most likely to be one of the internet generation LOL Abusers according to a statistic by the National Acronym Monitoring Board of Linguistic Anomalies. Research could reveal a devastating misusage of lol since people actually don’t laugh out loud whenever they add lol in a chat message, text message on their cellphone or even worse in everyday conversations in real life. Caution: “False Lolling” [...] is a class G felony punishable by permanent IP banning and in rare cases death by pawnage.”, it says on nomorelol.com

Remedy LOI: Laughing on the inside.

False usage of the abbreviation lol (laughing out loud) is committed by so called lol addicts whose remedy should be found in loi, as in laughing on the inside. LMAO (laughing my ass off) and ROFL (rolling of the floor laughing) are most likely to be replaced with an alternative as well. Since how often do you roll over your floor.

Nomorelol.com - Check it out and make sure you don’t misuse internet acronyms. I guess someone might have confounded figuratively and the more commonly used literally.

Oh My Goodness, It’s A Boy!

Technical gadgets can be quite confusing. Digital cameras look like cellphones, cellphones look like iPods, and iPods look like remote controls. However, be aware, that an iPod shuffle is good for music and music only, and not to test your pregnancy status. No, no.

It’s really bad and, yeah, tragic how they stereotype blondes nowadays.

Now it seems quite reasonable to me that they changed the shaped of the iPod shuffle since the generation 2 update.
