Ammies in Austria…

Hello friends…
I hope you’re all fine out here, after this exciting weekend we spent together on the prom of our school. This was a really glamorous prom and we all had a good time partying there. Anyway, welcome to my report on “Ordinary Americans In Austria”.

Let me introduce Jenna and Kathie - two typical American girls, smiling all day long, always good for a joke. (Who still doesn’t know whom I’m talking about… These girls are attending university in Rouen and decided to get to know good ol’ Europe, colleagues of my sister) Maybe they were a bit lost in tiny Austria — without the services of refilment and extra-extra-xxx-large portions, but nevertheless, they enjoyed their trip - probably - due to their charming guide, called Philipp. Jenna and Kathie started touring around in Vienna, where they got to know the Austrian military, which they might have compared with their Action man-figure-Army or Matchbox-Armor. Nevertheless, they intended to visit Connie, -of course- my sister. They went to Droß, had a toast and a cup of coffee with my “brok’nInglisch” parents and my smiling and pretending to understand those “foreigners” “gilmoregirls” grandma, who gave them - our free flat in Vienna. I’ll never forget the face when I replied their questions how my grandmother could be described… I simply countered: “Do you know the grandmother of Rorie? Gilmore Girls?

Furthermore, we decided to leave this tiny tiny village, because we liked the idea of making some promenades in the charming Wachau valley. Dürnstein, Stein and Krems were on our agenda this day. The fall of Austria, with red leaves and the vineyards. Very beautiful, and I think this was unique for them. And exemplary Philipp had already prepared some important information about Krems and the City of this town. For my part, I was really astonished about the Americans not being used to having a old City in their towns. I think this would be a loss for me, maybe because of the following… (Kathie, I hope you know what I’m talking about: “hot” spot - “narrow” alleys - “romantic”).

So I want to put it into a nutshell and want to thank you for this pleasant stay, and maybe this is the reason for my latest “A” on my English test.

I really hope to see you soon.
Philipp

P.S.: The reason for the delay of this weblog entry is simply explained: Conny forgot to send me the snapshots with you, …

    hey katie!

It’s really nice that you appeared here on my webpage. I’m also very sorry for this delay, but I hope you know who is to blame for! CONNY, she promised me to send the pictures… and she couldn’t sort it out :P

The prom was marvellous and of course this wasn’t the last prom in my live. We went on several proms and we had fun too.

I hope you like the snow. Driving a car when it snows, it’s not that funny. But for my mum it is more exciting because she has to accompany me.

Have fun it France with you friend. Greetings to all of my florida girls. and if your internet will work again, we will have a chat and discuss my Florida trip. 3 weeks would be okay, woulnd’t they?
