Aushtrian Summer 2008

Subtitle: Yet another American to show around. My friend Katy from CA visited me for 7 days to discover the mountains and cities of Austria. I took off from work and toured all (nearly, cough, cough) of Aushtria (The valley talk way of pronouncing Austria). Innsbruck, Salzburg, Krems, Dürnstein (even that little town) and Vienna were on oh-so-strict and oh-so-well-outplanned schedule. So yeah, pay a visit to the gallery of Aushtrian Summer 2008… Ask Katy, there was no time for sympathy for numerous blisters.

Soon I will publish a nice tour guide for Vienna. Planning on visiting for a weekend, you should read this including dining tips and specials you shouldn’t miss…

Finally, the devise for Philipp is BACK TO WORK (for 22 more days)…

It’s going to be my turn soon…to come and get a tour of Austria from Phil.
After looking at your photo gallery, I’m giving it a serious though, to visit Europe next Summer. Love to travel, and this will be my biggest adventure yet.

And back to work for 22 more days… but then what? School?

Europe is a great place to visit. There is a lot of culture/sq inch, so are you sure you can handle this? :P A butt load of churches in Salzburg and in Vienna, not to mention Rome. :)

No JK. I really like Europe and I think now that I am in Vienna I get to realize that, also I want to travel more on European soil.

Haha.. Have you considered a career in journalism?

Culture/Sq Inch - great way to put it.
I was born in India, so I’m used to places packed with so many people you can’t move, so I shouldn’t have a problem with crowded spaces(cultures).

I just want to visit Europe for the blue eye, blonde haired girls… everyone looks like that right? And you only work 3 hours a day, and the rest are spend in cafes sipping on expensive coffee and reading novels!!

Please tell me that’s how it is… :D

Your description of Europe made me giggle. And yes, Europe is just like that. I figured I’d rather lie about that than shake up your world defined by the 3hrs-work-aday and hang-at-café and blondes-everywhere concept. :)

I am planning on doing International Business Administration. As I explained here I’m On My Way To Uni… I am not planning on doing Journalism since I consider my blogging/writing as hobby-quality only.

    That’s what minors/double majors are for, buddy-boy.

If they have those things at your school, anyway. I’ll probably be minoring in German, in fact.

If you go to UCSB you could chill with Michio. :-)

Although SB is so way not as cool as any of the Claremont Colleges…
