Light Your Home The “Cool” Way
CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) bulbs explained in plain English. Go ahead, it saves money (CFLs have higher “life expectancy”) and the environment (use less CO2 heavy energy), what more could you possibly ask for (warm ice on a stick, maybe)?
The only thing that is really weird about this video is the number of “now that’s cool” and “this is cool” remarks done by the presenter. I love the XYZ in Plain English series. And these Flickr image results for CFL….
One final thought: Are you watching movies on VRC? Well it should be “cool” with me, if you have all your regular light bulbs dimmed or even better switched off.

I love CFLs… only things I don’t like sometimes is that they are not bright enough.
Cool post, and thanks for bringing these videos to me cause I forget about the “In Plain English” videos.. I should check up on them regularly.
I guess there should be a RSS feed at some place. But I am not into all “in plain english” videos, because sometimes they cover things that I know too much about and that consequently makes me grunge at simplified explanations that I wouldn’t be able to simplify since it wouldn’t be the whole truth… Haha. But I like the CFL version, ergo, I posted it.
