Rise Above Earth’s Confines
I really get excited when I get twitter updates on the Mars mission Phoenix. As I said, space and the vast universe, we are planted in like a seed, lures me away with an even vaster fascination.
Also I wonder if we are all ever get to enjoy space tourism. According to the quote attached below, the future belongs to those who take off from Earth and head some place free from forces that kept us on Planet Earth from birth on.
The future belongs to those who can rise above the confines of the earth. (Alfred North Whitehead, English mathematician & philosopher, 1861 - 1947)

But where can we go? If only it were as easy as packing your bags and getting into a rocket and blasting yourself off to the next galaxy. (Wait, is it that easy?)
I’m 99.9999% sure I’ll never get to see the earth from space, or break my ties with gravity - but imagining what it would feel like is fun. Staring at the stars and wondering what it looks like from that end of the universe.
Oh, you know, if you asked people in the 1920s if they thought there would be something like a washing machine, they would have laughed at you.
Soooooo, maybe, space tourism isn’t that far-fetched. I’m afraid it is though. But yeah, keep the washing machine in mind.
