Why Hearts New York City
Listing reason why to love New York City probably takes ages and why have words ruin the magnetic(ally) appealing atmosphere of a city that never sleeps. New York at sun set must be a thing of beauty and pictures can only give you the tiniest bit of an idea of what goes through your mind when your thoughts begin to get lost. Thanks to Barry. This time, I force you to click to enlarge the experience.
Let the pictures do the impressive talking and have quotes do the witty entertainment…
“Each man reads his own meaning into New York.” (Meyer Berger)
“When you leave New York, you ain’t goin’ nowhere.” (Unknown)
“Traffic signals in New York are just rough guidelines.” David Letterman
“Every person on the streets of New York is a type. The city is one big theater where everyone is on display.” (Jerry Rubin)
“New York has always been going to hell but somehow it never gets there.” (Robert Persig)
Two final thoughts
A - Something tells me that the next plane I put a foot on will just eject me at JFK, New York. Woops, and I’ll and in New York. Descending slowly with a parachute. Not that I would ever dare to jump out of a plane.
B - Guess what’s my latest wallpaper…

Is the writing under your welcome section supposed to be a quote from the Pretenders’ song?
Fair enough, I have a song called “I’m On My Way” by the Proclaimers… (and blake, your comment isn’t very NYC related, is it? *kutz kutz* = *cough cough*)
Hehe, I meant Proclaimers, not Pretenders, and yay I got the right song.
Um… New York.
I guess all I can say is I have about zero interest in visiting it, so I’m afraid I don’t share your feelings…
new york city is overrated, i greatly disliked it there, i suppose to hmmm fast for me, but i suppose that also has to do where i am growing up and the things i loike to do and how i loike to do them, couldnt do that in new york.
oh, here is my way of seeing new york
it is a completely different thing to have an interest in a city (for a couple of visits) from wanting to live there forever or for an expanded period of time… :)
i think new york has quite a nice image, it is busy, it is dynamic it is attractive with its places and attractions. the central park, manhattan, broadway, times square… :)
i like seeing things from the postive site, i forget to mention the crime, the drugs and the dirty parts of an american city :) europe’s cities are dirty too by the way :)
