What A Fett Surprise That Was

Fettes Brot Live in the Vienna U4 Club

Surprise, Surprise. FM4 hosted just another FM4 Überraschungskonzert (surprise concert) in Vienna’s U4 discotheque. Fettes Brot was on the agenda for yesterday’s show and, man, that quite a majestic show. They have just finished their Strom und Drang tour and played in Linz on Wednesday (14 May), however, FM4 got them to play in Vienna to give an encore. FM4 raffled away tickets and among the winners - guess who won something valuable for his first time in his life? - was Philipp. I took Miki and Jassy (who was not on the guest list unlike Miki and me) got in anyway with using her certain “willingness” to do anything to see Fettes Brot live. Kidding. Continue reading

My Freedom Ends Where Your Bumper Begins

Plastered

Giving public statements has to be somewhat of a human urge throughout mankind’s history.

Back in Ancient Times Greek and (copycat) Romans delivered rhetorical masterpiece speeches. It’s seems like there is something that fuels a drive that makes us express ourselves whether it is by (cave) paintings, plays or, let’s face it, bumper stickers. Continue reading

Susi’s Down Under: Week #2

“Sydney - Perfect Match Of Nature, City Life and Culture”

Since the last week I’ve been staying in Sydney. I checked in at Eva’s Backpacker’s, a hostel. It turned out that it is in the red light area of Sydney. It’s very interesting to see a life behind this curtain. Prostitution, drugs, alcoholism,… But don’t worry. My hostel is very safe!

The first few days I spent my time on the most famous beaches of Sydney, the Manly Beach and the world-widely known Bondi Beach (When pronouncing the word, please make sure you say bond-eye, and not bond-e, okay?). Here some impressions. Tons of new pictures in the gallery

Kick It Off, Los geht’s!

I am happy to announce that my hostbrothers from Californ-I-A are visiting and staying with my family for a couple of days. We do have a tight schedule, because our time is limited. However, I am so glad that we could work something out. This weekend we are going to tour in Vienna, meet up with another friend from San Francisco.

New Year’s Eve we will party at my place. If you want to get to know them, call me and I’ll tell you where to meet.

Next week Wednesday, I’d say we go for the buy one get two cocktails. Sounds good to me. Ice skating, Ulrich sitzen (sitting, this term is wayyyy too Austrian for me to put it into English). Los geht’s!

NEW: See the gallery for pictures of Vienna, Krems and our Night Activities. :)

Eventually, My Macbook

Finally, I can put up my report on the Macbook. After some issues with the display and the correct color schemes, I am now typing on a brand new Macbook Late 2007. Compared to my older Powermac G4 (I found a promising new owner for it), the new Core 2 Duo processor (Santa Rosa chip, I hear) runs amazingly fast. Today’s review is dedicated to everything that is related to my new Macbook. For a Leopard review, check back next week. Continue reading

BRG Ball Absolut Absurd
