The second thing might sound completely out of context, but speaking of a superiority of English compared to German I want to point out how stupid for example 2012 sounds in German. If you want to say the short form (that all people born before ca. 1997 remember) of 2012 you say zwanzig zwölf. Sounds stupid, huh? The English way on the other hand sounds quite elegant and natural: twenty twelve.

Too bad things like that hardly work in German. English - German: 2:0.

Und on top of that: Warum heißt die XO, XO (wobei man wissen muss, dass die XO Bar eine Bar in der Kremser Altstadt ist, die jeden MIttwoch 2 zum Preis von einem Cocktail im Angebot hat)?

Normally used online when you dont want to type or simply cant reach the person.” Also XO heißt eigentlich Hugs and Kisses (Umarmungen - dargestellt on den Os - und Küsse - verkörpert von den Xs).

Und wenn man nun ganz korrekt sein will, was wir natürlich alle sind, in unserer post-maturalen Phase, dann müsste man (Achtung Englische Aussprache) EX OH Bar (in der Kremser Altstadt) sagen.

Stolz eröffne ich seit langer langer Zeit (Lang lang ist’s her) eine Gallery (passend zum XOXOXO Eintrag), übrigens mit meiner neuen Digicam. Casio Exilim Z1050. Dazu eine 2GB SD-Card. Ich kann den Kauf eigentlich nur empfehlen. Das Plus für die Casio ist, dass sie extrem einfach zu bedienen ist und für die SD Card, naja, ganz einfach 2 GB und man kann sie an einen - Achtung - USB Port anschließen.
Bottomline: Schnelle Bildaufnahme und sie nimmt nicht zu viel Platz in einer Hosentasche ein. Ich sage bewusst, ich wollte keine zu kleine Cam, weil das Schicksal meines Shuffles ist ja allen bekannt. Schnief! (By the way, mein parentales Maturageschenk, dass durchaus nützlich für den Trip nach good ol’Amerika ist!)
