Mind-Mapping My Mind

Part 1 of The Ultimate College Guide

Very much indeed. I’m on my way to entering college next year. Or, let’s rephrase this and say that I should be on my way to college and spend hours thinking about what I want to make out of my life. After having been pestered with questions about future and what it should have in store for me, I finally decided to utter my ideas about this topic publicly, so that questions related with college/university are covered. This is my Ulimate Guide to Philipp’s College Decision. Hopefully I will be able to create a series out of this sujet and tell you about the whole process of finding, enrolling at and experiencing the branch of study I will have picked by August 2008. Lingo Bingo #6: You’d drink my Kool-Aid, wouldn’t you?

For time tends to get less busy I decided to pick up a book that I always wanted to read that has been rotting in my book shelf since my A-Levels: Apex Hides The Hurt by Colson Whitehead. I will soon publish a short review on this book, FYI (this abbreviation is for “for your information” in case you are wondering).

Anyway, I came across with the phrase in Apex Hides The Hurt. Here a quote: “That doesn’t mean I’m all up in his Kool-Aid, if you know what I mean” - And I was - talking to myself, like a 64-year-old grandpa - “No, not exactly,” so I check and did some research on that phrase. Lucky you as I made a blog post out of my curiosity. Curious Gorge Phil meets a rather short Lingo Bingo session. Continue reading

Dellicious

Looks good. Nice commercial, yet, not the Macbook I want so badly. I hope Apple brings out a new one before Christmas. That would contribute to my perfect Christmas-Eve. Anyhoo, here’s a rather new Dell commercial. Song by Devo.

Paris, Je t’aime

Paris [paaah-riiiiee] je t’aime. — Since I saw the ersatz Eiffel Tower (see the picture here) in Las Vegas, I should definitely find out which version is better, right? So, I plan on going to Paris after community service (since I should be rich after that, but my french speaking skills should approach zero by then).

Since I found this awesome page (cestsoparis.com), I do totally know what’s hip in Paris. On top of seeing all the sights we were taught in French class (an authentically ancient Guillotine is on the very top of my “where to go in the city of love”), this very poster finally talked me into getting a flight booked.

Left Or Right? Or The Other Right?

Sometimes it’s hard to make a decision. But some day it will be up to you to make the decision of your life. So this video (Click: Read the rest of the story) will help you to make up your mind. Hopefully you do not rely on your optical senses that might seduce you and bring you off the right decision. So what do you choose? Right or Left? Left or Right? Or the Other right? (By The Way: THIS is based on the apple spots I’ve been dreaming of) Continue reading

I know, I know…

I know that I am a fatty fat geek, but there they are. New Mac Ads, and I like them more than ever! You can watch them on apple.com and I am pretty sure, that y’all think they funny. So what cha waiting for? Go and get the new Mac ads! Most pro-babe-ly I like the “Accident” commercial best, because in the end, the Mac-Safe-Connector gets just unplugged - bloob. Or the one with the Devil and an Angel… Just freaking funny :)
“Nonesense, it’s beautiful, go and ask him how he did it” - “Its good” “You never saw meeee” - “Saw whooooo” - “Saw me, PC - arrrgh” The trust one’s definitely the best, they’re all cool :)

However, the faky-fake ones that po(o)p(p)ed up at youtube are funny, too. Link 1, Link 2, Link3. Well, they’re not as good as the real ones, but I guess Link 3 or 1 is the best :) Basically they all make fun about how not useful a mac can be. “Oh thats for working, I forgot”; “Working? What’s working? - You know, our jobs - I know a guy called” Jobs!”

Get a Mac - Neue Video Spots online!

Hello everybody!

Get A Mac” Page online gestellt.
