Eventually, My Macbook

Finally, I can put up my report on the Macbook. After some issues with the display and the correct color schemes, I am now typing on a brand new Macbook Late 2007. Compared to my older Powermac G4 (I found a promising new owner for it), the new Core 2 Duo processor (Santa Rosa chip, I hear) runs amazingly fast. Restoring The Faith

The title of today’s blog entry is quite self-explanatory. After having experienced “minor challenges” (see the PR Lady spot of Mac vs. PC) with my new Macbook’s screen (the viewing angle’s quality was bitchy), the “Apple Care Dude” and I decided to replace it with a whole new one. It is a bummer having the amount of money in mind I paid for it (I am getting a new one, next week on Thursday). However, writing that entry now sort of serves several purposes. Continue reading

Leopard’s Purring

Hey folks,

I couldn’t help but talk about Leopard (Mac OS 10.5) today since it will be released at 18 o’clock local time in Austria. It is just another amazing system upgrade that Mac users will love. Several new features made me want to buy a new Mac (I might end up with a Macbook, yet I am waiting for the upgrade) in the run of the next couple of months.
