Anyone? Anyone? Herr Kollege?

Where is a truism: Some classes appear to last like forever. Excuse the simple langauge, but it seems to be the best way to put it in a nutshell. May it be a lack of interest, quality of the teaching personnel or what reason so ever that can distract you and tear down your attention span to a ridiculously small level. Check out this very illustrative video extracted from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (an American friend and I introduced to some Brits exactly one year ago)…

Wait, what? You still don’t know Ferris Bueller’s Day Off? Well, I think you have some catching up to do in addition to what you missed in <insert particular class that has been removed for anonymity reasons> that is a perfect representative for a de-progressive mind attention class as time proceeds. Our lecturer asks in a slightly different manner except with pointing out people who then have to come up with SOMETHING; he woudn’t let the questioned person go.

Boxed Up Your Life, What Now?

Having Started my studies of International Business Administration on Wednesday was next big thing coming up for me in the last week. Therefore, I needed to move. Get out of the countryside and dive into the urban flair of Vienna was the ultimate devise for me the last couple of days. Luckily I was spared with the whole odysee-like search for the perfect apartment and got to move in a family apartment in the 7th district of Vienna: Neubau. Sweet home, Neubau…

Been there, done that. Here is what Dan Barham adds to his picture: "We spent $200 on cardboard boxes for our impending move. Of course, I did what any self-respecting person would do and built an awesome fort."

Scotland Meets Austria Meets America

Oh, what a lovely connection. Innocent Scottish sheep meets kinky weirdo Austrian meets perfidiously maliciously megalomanic American. See the brand new bubblesnaps (link to a list of bubblesnaps entries on PHB) from December 07 and January 08. Continue reading
